"Son of Man, set thy face towards the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them. And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the
Lord God; thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon
you, and I will destroy your high places. So will I stretch out mine hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the
wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they sahll know that I am the Lord, Ezekiel 6: 2-3".
And desolate her lands were. Her mountain tops became barren and rocky. The Turks who possessed the land for four hundred years from
1517-19-17 imposed a tax law that taxed trees. They therefore cut every tree in sight. When the Jews began returning, there were only
approximately 1,000 trees in all Israel. Since their return over 250,000,000 trees have been planted. Mark twain visited Israel in around 1860.
He wrote of what he witnessed; "the hallowed spot where the shepherds watched their flocks by night, and where the angels sang, Peace on
Earth, good will to men, IS UNTENATED BY ANY LIVING CREATURE...and the desert places around about them...sleep in the hush of a solitude
that is inhabited only by birds of prey and skulking foxes". God was true to His world...your land shall be desolate...Leviticus 26:33. In the late
19th Century Israel's children began returning; they came from Morroco, from Tunisia, from Ethiopia where 15,000 were flown to Israel in one
day (Operation Solomon), fro m Iraq, Egypt, Syria, and Yemen. Those from the North came in droves with the fall of the Soviet Union.

The return of Jews from the north was prophesied 2,500 years ago. "Behold I will bring them from the north country and gather them from the
uttermost parts of the earth". Jeremiah 31:8. Two million Jews have returned from the north. Today forests are spreading across this land of
milk and honey. Her land is fruitful once again with orange and grapefruit trees growing in the plains, banana plants and date palms bear
fruit in the Jordon Valley. Cities are thriving; "for indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. I will multiply
men upon you; and the cities shall be inhabited and ruins rebuilt, Ezekiel 36: 9-10".

"He crouched, he lay down as a lion; and as a lioness, who shall rouse him? Blessed (of God) is he who blesses you (who prays for and
contributes to your welfare) and cursed (of God) is he who curses you (who in word, thought, or deed would bring harm upon you). Numbers
24:9"
There will be a judgement of the nations who have blasphemied against God and His people. God foretold of the destruction of Damacus in
Isaiah 17:1. "The burden of D amascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap". Throughout all
his tory this has not happened and is yet to come. the judgement of the nations will begin in Damascus. Ezekiel 36: 3,4,5 speaks of a group of
nations that will band together against Israel. Psalm 83: 3-5 states; "they have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against
the hidden ones. They have said, come, and let us cut them off from being a nation: that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate agains t thee".
Judea and Samaria that are present day described as the "West Bank" are prophesied about in Ezekiel 35: 10-11, "because you have said, these
two nations and these two countries shall be ,mine, and we will possess them, although the Lord was there, therefore, as I live, says the Lord
God, I will do according to your anger and according to your envy which you showed in your hatred agains them; and I will make Myself
known among them when I judge you".
